COMMUNITY MEDICINE
Advancing prevention, population health and community-centred medical practice.
Community Medicine extends healthcare from the individual to the population, preparing
future physicians to understand health determinants, prevent disease and promote equitable
wellbeing.
The Department of Community Medicine at SBR Institute of Medical Sciences is planned to build a strong foundation in preventive, promotive and social medicine, helping learners understand population health, disease prevention and community-based healthcare.
